Well, i watch this movie on February exatcly, but there is special request to put this on my blog, so here we are,

Valkyrie is a 2008 historical thriller film set in Nazi Germany during World War II. The film depicts the July 20, 1944 plot by German army officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler and to use the Operation Valkyrie national emergency plan to take control of the country. Valkyrie was directed by Bryan Singer under the American studio United Artists, and the film stars Tom Cruise as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, one of the key plotters. Bill Nighy, Eddie Izzard, Terence Stamp and Tom Wilkinson are also featured as fellow plotters.

Cruise’s casting caused controversy among German politicians and members of von Stauffenberg’s family because of the actor’s practice of Scientology, which is considered a totalitarian organization in the country. German newspapers and filmmakers supported the film to spread global awareness of von Stauffenberg’s plot. The filmmakers initially had difficulty setting up filming locations in Germany due to the controversy, but they were later given leeway to film in locations pertaining to the film’s story, such as Berlin’s historic Bendlerblock. Huff, before i watch this movie, i really2 dislike war-type movie. but then after i saw it, i want to watch it again. you can read the preview in above link. Oh yeah, the director once directing ‘Superman Returns’.

Cerita seorang kolonel yang ingin melaksanakan aksi kudeta dan percobaan pembunuhan terhadap hitler, karena beberapa kali dilakukan namun gagal. Ketegangan mewarnai hampir seluruh durasi film, terutama saat Kolonel Stauffenberg menjalankan rencananya.

Hm, yang jelas, aku tidak begitu suka film perang, tapi setelah nonton film ini aku suka, and beberapa orang yang ku rekomendasikan nonton ini juga bilang seru. So, what about you? See it for yourself!! Mau meratingnya agak susah, habis genrenya beda sama Benjamin Button, so, untuk genre film ini aq beri Five Star, untuk overall… bingung mana yang lebih bagus daripada Button, ha3

Well, at first time I really dunno what kind of movie is this, i don’t read any of this movie preview, so i just watch it while i wait for the real one i want to see, ‘Push’.

So i just sit down, and few minutes later i keep sayin’ damn it must be difficult and boring movie, cause i dunno what seven pounds means, the prolog just said: ‘God created the world at seven days, and in seven seconds i screw it up.’ (or at least like that, he3)

Filmnya model drama, klo km masuk link diatas bisa baca previewnya, kurang cocok bagi orang yg hanya pgn tontonan ringan n sekedar iseng, tapi klo km benar2 nonton n memosisikan dirimu jadi pemainnya, wow, incredible, even i who dunno the preview before say incredible!! I believe some of the audience can’t hold their tears fall down. Dan jantungku masih merasa agak nyeri waktu dia ‘melakukannya’ (eit jangan ngeres lho- hanya tidak mau terlalu membuka cerita biar kalian penasaran).

So, anyway because the story incredible and Mr. Smith can handle it (in my opinion) i give this movie rating litle bit below Benjamin Button ^_^

seperti yang telah disebutkan diatas cerita ini diinspirasi oleh cerita nyata, yang sampai saat ini (kalau tidak salah) belum diketahui pelakunya. Alhasil selama lima menit pertama para penggemar cerita genre ini bakal sudah menduga akhirnya bakal g jelas. Knp begitu? well, film bergenre ini biasanya diakhir cerita akan menjelaskan misteri yang ada dalam ceritanya, mengungkapkan siapa pelakunya dan motif dibaliknya, namun yah, karena cerita aslinya pelakunya aja belum ketangkep jadi yah… he3, almost or maybe all audience when i watch SEEMS not satisfied, ^_^

Start fom this month aku akan memberikan resensi film yang diputar di bioskop tanah air Indonesia (baca: Plasa Semanggi), jadi kecuali aku menunjukkan lokasi yang lain semua yang kulihat adalah di bioskop tersebut.

Rating film ini hanya berdasar selera saya, jadi  sama sekali tidak ada maksud menjelekkan satu pihak tertentu, namun hanya sebagai resensi saja, bagi yang berminat, terutama movie mania, dan tentu saja selera orang tidak selalu sama, sehingga mungkin saja saya bilang Film A bagus namun anda menganggap payah, dan sebaliknya,
